Any Gators fans out there?

I'm new to this site and am hoping to find some people with the same team spirit as myself (I'm a fan, not a fanatic). Because I'm new, any advice that you "Old Pro's" may have would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a Gator-fan

But I wouldn't describe myself as rabid...More like frequently-heartbroken! And I've learned NEVER to bet on them, especially if it involves Bobby Bowden...

One thing I do want to do again now that I'm an old-geezer alum is go back to "Gator Growl." One Growl weekend we had Rodney Dangerfield (RIP Rodney!) and it was hilarious, and of course the "game" that weekend is always predictable... I used to smuggle plenty of liquor into that stadium in little "seal-a-meal" pouches back in the day, and in the very-old days the stadium wasn't even entirely bowled-in, so you could see games thru certain windows...

the BIGGESTand I mean the biggest FLa gators fan i know anywhere is Coach LT who posts here all the time.(check out his avator or whatever you call that little thing next to your name).... look for him in the NFL room but mostly in college football.....he calls in to their talk radio show all the time....posts on the gator webste...wears gator visor and shirts all the time....eats drinks and sleeps gators...hates the Criminoles and Bowden....anyway you get the point.....check out his posts...his email is LATSR @aol.com..and i know he will not mind me giving it out...he is here at the bash now...lives in jaxville....is that enough info for a gator fan???

I wouldn't call myself a Gators fan, but I am excited to see what the Urban LEgend is going to be able to do with the kind of athletes they've got at Florida. It should be quite a show and I think Leak has a good shot at the Heisman.

Creeker, thanks for the true words. Yes, I despise the Criminoles. CoachCB is a Gator grad and a member of the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Dept. We will be on the main board and College football board. Come on down! LT
